October

Having such troubles getting regular posts up so I'm gonna try to at least monthly "newsletters" recapping our adventures...

October we thoroughly enjoyed everything Fall.

Leaf piles in the yard...

Nature walks around the neighborhood

 Fall dice games...

A Sunday afternoon drive to explore a nearby town we'd never been to...

Trips to the pumpkin patch.  Hannah, Carter, and I went with our MOPS group.  And the very next day Eli went to the same pumpkin patch for a school field trip.

And Halloween.  While we don't participate in trick-or-treating because we quite simply already have enough candy, Eli dressed up for a party at school, the littles and I went to a preschool Halloween party with our MOPS friends, and we went to a little-kid Halloween party my friend Nikki hosted.  We mostly picked costumes we already had.  Eli went as Zorro, Hannah went as a butterfly, and Carter didn't want to wear any dress-up.

Coming soon with November!

Just a fall day. Beautiful kids.

Just happened to have the camera outside this day. These pictures were pretty impromptu.  Love my babies and their sweet smiles.

Someone is missing...

... a tooth!

The story? It had been loose for a few weeks probably but still pretty tight in there.  But we were at a friend's birthday party last Saturday when Eli came up to me saying his tooth was bleeding, and when I looked it was hanging on by a thread.  It was ready and time to come out.  Knowing birthday cake (eating) was still happening, I took him to the bathroom to inspect and do some jiggling.  After making a call to the hubster for moral support, and gradually becoming surrounded by little friends, I finally got it twisted outta there.  Did I tell you I HATE the loosing-teeth phase??  Accckkk!!!  But I did it!  Eli was surprisingly absolutely calm, not even the least bit afraid, and he insisted that it didn't hurt at all.  SO PROUD!

We took these pictures as soon as we got home, and Brother wanted to be in them too. So these are those pictures too!

Growing up more and more every day!
