You know me, it's hard picking favorite pics because they each tell part of the story, but here are some highlights from Hannah's party:
Hanging out with the family after she just woke up from her nap
Hannah loves playing with Eli's Doodle so we got her one of her own to put in "the church bag". She really just loves biting on the pen the most.
Some Valentine's toys sent from Aunt CarriThe adult cake. When I told Kevin to pick up the cake pan from the library he came back with just two simple heart-shaped pans. So I decided to just do a layered cake instead of a decorated cake. I'm not any good at that anyway, and by the end of the week I was exhausted from painting and fighting a cold and wasn't up for that kind of work anyway. Turned out just fine. It's a strawberry whipped cake, very light and tasty. The recipe is somewhere on my homemaking blog, but I couldn't find it anywhere to post the link for you.Hannah's little cake. She LOVES whipped cream so I just put a drop of food coloring in it to make it pink and use whipped cream for her frosting so it wouldn't be as sweet as regular frosting.
Happy birthday, baby doll!
