We got our boxspring up our stairs!!! How did we do it, you ask?? Thanks to my friend Kristen's suggestion, this is what we did:
We took the very thin fabric off the bottom of the boxspring so we could see the inside. We removed the three vertical boards and all the staples connecting the padding fabric to the outer boards. See photo:And that's it! Now the boxspring was flexible enough to bend around the 180 turn in the stairs! It was a piece of cake! Once upstairs, Kevin hammered the three vertical boards back in place and staple-gunned the fabric back, and all was done! With that ready to go, we were able to assemble our headboard/footboard and have our bed back! And now here's our room!
So if anyone else comes across this situation, I hope this post helps! Thanks a TON, Kristen! You're a lifesaver!

WOW! GREAT!
Glad it worked out for you too! :) It's nice to have a bed all put together and feeling that much more settled.
Great Work... mark another on the list for your handyman husband.
